The Shanghai Shenhua and Shandong Luneng football teams clashed in the Round 16 match of the China League One (CSL) competition on Sunday, with both sides hoping to secure a win and maintain their top spot in the league table.

However, Shandong Luneng fought back in the second half and started to create more chances of their own. In the 57th minute, Shandong Luneng's striker Wu Jingtao scored a goal to level the scores at 1-1.

Despite this, Shanghai Shenhua refused to give up and continued to push forward for a win. They created numerous chances in the closing stages of the game but were unable to find the net.
