The French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have refused to sell their star forward, Kylian Mbappe, to Spanish giants Real Madrid for a reported €150 million ($178 million), according to reports in France.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent months and has been one of the most sought-after players in world football over the past few years.

However, PSG is reportedly holding firm on its demand for a high transfer fee, which has led to speculation that Mbappe could end up staying put in Paris.

The 22-year-old has been instrumental in PSG's success in recent seasons and has won numerous individual awards including the Ligue 1 Golden Boot and the Ballon d'Or.

Despite this, PSG has also made it clear that it values Mbappe highly and wants to keep him at the club.

In an interview with Canal+ earlier this month, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said that he would not be "selling" Mbappe to any other club, and that the player was "very important" for the club.

It remains to be seen whether PSG will ultimately agree to a transfer fee that satisfies both parties, but for now, Mbappe appears set to stay in Paris for the foreseeable future.
